This ensemble was captured using a wide range of microphones including a vintage BBC AXB1. Strings library was recorded at Spitfire HQ with fourteen of London’s best string players. This piano sound is popular in genres such as pop, dance, chillout etc. Its soft tone is achieved by placing a thin strip of felt between the hammers and the strings. Soft Piano was recorded at Air Edel Studios back in 2008.
